Imagine it was 2022 since we last posted on here! 😅

Just a little check-in to let you know that although we don’t post on this page (let’s be honest… there’s only so much excitement you can create around boilers and pipes! 😂), we’re very much still here and active.

Another successful NICEIC Audit ✔️

Looking back, it's hard to believe that N Brown Electrical began as a one-man business back in 2016.

In 2019, I achieved my first NICEIC Approved Contractor accreditation—a milestone that reflected the standards I wanted the business to be built on.

Fast forward to today, and I'm proud to say we've successfully completed another NICEIC assessment.

What makes me most proud isn't just the accreditation—it's seeing how far the business has come. We've grown into a team of three, employing two local people, investing in their development, and doing my bit to support the local economy.

None of this would have been possible without the continued support of my customers, builders, contractors, suppliers, friends and family who have trusted us over the years.

I am always looking for ways to improve, raise standards and deliver the quality of workmanship our customers deserve.

Research recently commissioned by NICEIC shows 22% of homeowners haven’t had their electrics checked in over a decade.

An electrical check, known as an EICR, is an essential MOT for the home; helping to spot issues early and keeping people safe.

In privately owned homes, it is recommended an EICR is carried out at least every 10 years, and in rented properties it is a legal requirement to have one at least every 5 years.

The guidance is simple, prioritise the safety of your home by getting your installations checked by a NICEIC-registered electrician.
