Hi guys.

An update from myself for my business McPhee Electrical Ltd. It may come as a surprise to some but this week marks the last week on site for us. As of Friday the 31st of July and weirdly enough the company’s year end, I will be hanging up my tool belt, haven taken a role in full-time site management.

The last 4 years have been nothing but a whirlwind for me in terms of a learning curve, but I have loved every minute of it. Looking back, I have given it my all and I leave it for the time being very satisfied of the success and standard we achieved in such a short time. I’m extremely proud to have brought 3 young lads into the trade and see the men & tradesmen they have become, pretty much funded by myself and a business that started with zero, so that gives me great satisfaction. They all have new roles also. It’s never easy walking away from something when there’s no reason to, but I believe in timing, when an opportunity arises you seize it.

I believe my passion and qualities are in construction as a whole and I hope I can show and hold my own in leadership and management to drive my next venture to success.

Neat little EV charger ticked off today, supplied by customer for their new motor.

Haven’t been very active on my social media with work of late, mainly because I think the industry is becoming a bit too much with social media, I totally get that it brings in business and revenue but sometimes i need to step back and think we are tradesmen not movie stars, like everything else with these apps it can have you doubting yourself & your capabilities when really it’s a lot of s**t.

I’ve took a few L’s of recent but also had some big wins, that’s just the game!! 4 years iv been mixing it with the big boys sometimes I struggle with how much folk are dependant on me and have I struggle with a bit imposter syndrome but on the flip side, I’m one of the best in the game. 😂🤠.
