Same space. Different feeling. What was once flat and a bit lost now has purpose, flow, and balance. The old layout didn’t invite you in, this one draws you through it. The sandstone brings warmth across the whole garden, broken up with texture from cobblestone and stonework that gives it character without overdoing it. Raised sleeper planters and subtle level changes create structure, while the fresh turf softens everything around it. It’s clean, it’s considered, and it just works. Sometimes it’s not about adding more, it’s about getting it right. ♠️

Not every garden starts as a blank canvas, some start as a challenge.

Levels that didn’t quite work. Spaces that felt disconnected. Materials that had seen better days. This one needed more than just a refresh… it needed rethinking.

We brought it back together with warm camel dust sandstone slabs, cobblestone detail to break it up, and solid sleeper planters to frame the space properly. New steps now guide you through the garden instead of cutting it off, with fresh turf softening everything around it. Finished off with clean fencing to give it that sense of structure and privacy.

It’s the kind of transformation that doesn’t shout, but you feel the difference the second you step into it.

We will update when we are free - here is one from late last year - ready for the summer.

Hopefully it will be better weather than what we have at the moment ☔️💧🌧️ ♠️

Just completed a beautiful project in the Ferry, a bespoke sitooterie build that’s perfect for relaxing summer evenings.
We created a sunken seating area using decorative walling stone, complemented with railway sleeper seats. To bring it to life, we added a variety of plants and decorative stones, giving it both structure and softness.

It was a pleasure, as always, to collaborate with Inglis Thorburn, his intricate attention to detail is second to none, and it really shows in the finished piece.

Our customer was absolutely thrilled with the result, and we couldn’t be happier to have brought their vision to life.

We’ve just wrapped up a beautiful garden transformation featuring:

✔️ Decorative slabs
✔️ Sleeper wall & steps
✔️ Sleeper planter
✔️ Decorative stones
✔️ A tidy bin storage area

Our lovely customer was an absolute pleasure to work for, keeping us well-fuelled with tea, biscuits, and cakes throughout the job! She was thrilled with the final result and amazed at the speed we brought her dream garden to life.
