APPLICATIONS STILL OPEN | LABOUR COORDINATOR
We're continuing our search for a Labour Coordinator to join MAC Surfacing, and we're keen to hear from people who know how to keep things organised when everything around them is changing!
Are you the person who can solve problems before they escalate and somehow keep everyone on the same page?
Then you might be exactly who we're looking for.
We're looking for a Labour Coordinator who enjoys a challenge, thinks on their feet and isn't fazed when the day's carefully organised plans suddenly change.
Working alongside our established Operations Team, you'll play an important role in keeping our surfacing projects running smoothly.
So, what does the Labour Coordinator role involve?
🔹 Planning and coordinating operatives across multiple projects
🔹 Managing workforce availability, holidays and sickness cover
🔹 Responding to changing programmes and last-minute requirements
🔹 Checking competencies, qualifications and site requirements
🔹 Identifying potential labour shortages and finding solutions
🔹 Keeping communication flowing between teams and management
Who would make a great Labour Coordinator?
You might already work in construction or highways, but equally, you could come from logistics, transport, workforce planning or another busy operational environment.
We're interested in people who are:
✅ Highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities
✅ Confident communicators who can work with different teams
✅ Quick thinkers who enjoy problem-solving
✅ Calm under pressure and comfortable making decisions
✅ Proactive, adaptable and happy to take ownership
What can MAC offer?
✔️ Competitive salary based on experience
✔️ Opportunities for development and progression
✔️ Bespoke IT systems to support your day-to-day work
✔️ A supportive, established Operations Team
✔️ A varied role within a growing road surfacing business
