A little blast from the past.

This garden had a horrible-looking wall that had been built right up against a lovely brick wall. Unfortunately, rebuilding it wasn’t within the budget, so I came up with the idea of a pencil wall to hide it.

To this day, it’s still one of my favourite features I’ve created. Sadly, I’ve never had the opportunity to build another one since.

It’s always satisfying when a practical solution turns into something that adds real character to a garden.

A complete driveway transformation from start to finish.

✅ Installed a new drainage system to ensure effective water management and eliminate the risk of future drainage issues.

✅ Created a beautiful curved grey sandstone entrance to the property, softening the many straight lines of both the house and driveway while adding character and kerb appeal.

The result is a practical, durable, and visually striking entrance that complements the property’s architecture and provides long-lasting performance.

Another fantastic transformation completed by the J Wyton team! 👏

The crew really knocked this one out of the park.

This project involved the complete removal and recycling of the old driveway, followed by the installation of a brand-new drainage system to resolve ongoing flooding issues.

To further improve drainage, new soakaway crates were installed beneath the gravelled area, providing additional capacity for surface water management.

We also installed beautiful light grey sandstone paving around the front entrance and along the side of the property, perfectly complementing the rear garden.

New edging kerbs were fitted at the front of the driveway to help prevent water from the shared driveway crossing onto the property.

Finally, the tarmac was replaced and carefully re-profiled to direct water efficiently towards the new drainage system.

A great result that not only looks stunning but will perform brilliantly for years to come.

Another day on the River Severn digging and installing fishing pegs. The weather wasn’t quite as kind this time, with rain on and off throughout the day, but we persevered and got the job done. There’s nothing quite like being out in the countryside, working by the river and doing something I genuinely enjoy.

A blast from the past, but still one of our favourite projects.
A beautiful outdoor kitchen area paired with a stunning patio, creating the perfect space for entertaining and relaxing. It was a pleasure to carry out this work for such a lovely family, and we’re still proud of the finished result today.
