TDB Electrical Services Ltd back working in the valleys of South Wales delivering another installation for Airband’s next generation network infrastructure.

The project included installing new power supplies and reclosers to help strengthen and future-proof the network, improving reliability and resilience across rural areas.

Site access proved challenging in places, but with the pickup and quad bike we were able to reach some of the more remote locations throughout the valleys.

Tough terrain, long days, and plenty of hard work involved, but great progress made by the team and proud to play a part in improving connectivity for local communities.

Second fix underway at the old Sealine Factory in Kidderminster 🔧⚡

We’re currently second fixing the new office blocks, installing LED panel lighting with emergency lights throughout, sockets in dado trunking, and fitting a new TP+N distribution board for a clean and reliable setup.

Today, TDB Electrical Services Ltd attended a site in Devon, Tavistock for Airband, investigating connectivity issues. After a thorough inspection, we quickly found the culprit: a faulty meter. ✅

Our team acted swiftly, replacing the meter and restoring seamless service, keeping Airband running smoothly. Another problem solved with precision and professionalism! 💪

Up at the highest point in Shropshire today for an Airband call out — definitely beats the usual office view.

Sun shining, views for miles, and we were pretty much level with the clouds. Then out of nowhere, a helicopter comes past right at our height… one of those moments you just have to stop and take in.

We’re incredibly proud to share this amazing news from Lighthouse Family Centre CIC 👏

It’s been an honour for us to install their brand new community defibrillator — a vital piece of equipment that truly can mean the difference between life and death. Stories like Natalie’s are a powerful reminder of just how important fast action and access to a defibrillator can be.

We carry out these installations free of charge as our way of giving back to the community and helping ensure that life-saving equipment is accessible to as many people as possible.

This installation marks our 29th defibrillator, with our 30th already booked in for Monday — a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge well done to everyone involved in making this happen. It’s a brilliant example of what can be achieved when people come together for a great cause 💙

Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and qualified subcontractor electrician to carry out works within domestic properties and commercial environments. All work must be completed to a high standard and in compliance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems
• Working within domestic properties (occupied and void)
• Carrying out commercial electrical works as required
• EV charger installations and associated works
• Fault finding and repairs
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations (BS 7671)
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment

Requirements:
• Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent preferred)
• Experience working within domestic and commercial environments
• Own tools and valid insurance
• ECS/CSCS card preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Today we’re proud to be celebrating 12 years in business. What started as a one-man band has grown into a team of 9, operating from our own business premises in Blackpole, Worcester — a milestone that means a great deal to us.
