National recognition. A proud milestone for J Field Construction Ltd.

On Friday, we travelled to London for the National Building & Construction Awards 2026, where I was honoured to receive the Silver Award — second place nationally, for Project/Construction Manager of the Year.

This is a huge achievement for J Field Construction Ltd and a moment I will always remember. To receive recognition at a national level means an enormous amount, both personally and professionally. It reflects how far we have come, the standards we work hard to uphold and our continued growth as a company.

Building a business takes commitment, perseverance and people who believe in you. Behind this award are years of hard work, difficult decisions and the determination to keep moving forward.

I would like to personally thank our clients, past and present, for their trust and support, and those who are choosing us for their future projects. Every opportunity to deliver your vision has helped us reach this milestone.

Most importantly, to my wife Annabel, Tom Samson, Barry Brookes and Sharon Gandy, thank you for being by my side every step of the way. Your support, encouragement and guidance, day in and day out, have helped me become a better leader and build the company we have today.

You have pushed me when I needed it, supported me through the challenges and believed in what we could achieve. Although this award carries my name, the achievement belongs to all of us.

Standing there on Friday evening was a proud and emotional moment. It gave me the chance to pause, appreciate the journey and recognise the people who have made it possible.

We return from London proud of what we have achieved and more determined than ever to keep raising our standards, delivering for our clients and growing J Field Construction Ltd.

Jon Field and Kris Hall are down at Screwfix Live in Guildford today, having a look at what’s new in the industry, catching up with suppliers and meeting other like-minded people from across the construction sector.

It’s quite a journey when you think about it, just over two years ago, Kris was one of our clients when J Field Construction Ltd completed his two-storey extension. Fast forward to today, and Kris is now working alongside us within the commercial side of the business at J Field Commercial Ltd, and, more importantly, has become a good friend along the way.

That’s one of the things we love about this industry. The relationships you build can go far beyond the completion of a project.

🏗️ PROJECT UPDATE | KIDDERMINSTER EXTENSION 🏡

Another fantastic project reaching the final stages for J Field Construction Ltd.

Our team has now successfully completed all of our contracted works on this extension and renovation project in Kidderminster. We’re extremely pleased with the transformation and the quality of workmanship delivered by the team.

The project is now awaiting the client-arranged glazing and flooring installations, which sit outside of our contracted works. Once these final elements have been completed, we’ll be heading back to see the finished space and capture the full transformation. 👏
