⚡ Consumer Unit Upgrade – Elsey Electrical Services ⚡

Another consumer unit upgrade completed! 🔌

This installation features individual RCBO protection for each circuit, alongside SPD (Surge Protection Device) protection to help protect against electrical surges.

Each circuit now benefits from its own individual RCD protection, helping improve electrical safety and minimise disruption if a fault occurs.

🏡 The property will be rewired in stages, so some existing circuits are planned to be removed as the remaining electrical installation is upgraded over time.

The consumer unit was fully labelled before we left, making circuit identification straightforward for future works.

⚡ Kitchen Rewire – Minimising Disruption

For this kitchen rewire, we utilised the existing cooker cable as an unconventional ring circuit, allowing us to rewire the kitchen socket circuit while keeping damage to the rest of the property to an absolute minimum.

All necessary isolators were neatly installed above the oven within the kitchen unit, keeping everything accessible while maintaining a clean and tidy finish.

Another example of finding a practical solution to achieve a safe, compliant installation while minimising disruption to the customer. 🔌
