I am now back to being a single man operation after Emerald has decided to leave the trade and move onto pastures new. I would like to thank Emerald for all her hard work and commitment over the last few years. Sad times as the industry and the business is losing an exceptional engineer but some times things just do not work out for one reason or another. All the best for the future.

Old unvented cylinder replaced today in a loft. Old internal bubble on old cylinder was constantly failing and the D2 pipework was not installed correctly so the tundish was spilling over constantly. Cylinder was badly scaled up inside which was causing poor flow rates and there was a leak on the hot outlet behind the cylinder. All replaced with a Gledhill indirect 150 litre unvented. Just lagging to do when I return to do some other bits in the property.

Call out today to an elderly couple who had found this terrible pipework leaking. Plastic pipework and fittings all removed and repiped in copper. Radiator is in a poor state but at least there’s no more leaks now.
