🏡Here we carried out a full tidy up of the entrance to this home 🏡

• Removed and rebuilt the leaning retaining wall on the right-hand side.
• Installed weep holes in both walls to help with drainage.
• Rendered both walls and the front of the steps for a fresh, clean finish.
• Rebuilt the front brick piers to complete the entrance.

A great transformation, improving both the appearance and condition of the entrance!

🏡 Another exterior transformation completed! 🏡

• Top half of the property re rendered smooth as requested by the customer, to prevent a water ingress issue from the previous rendering being cracked. 🛠️

• Redecrorated the front elevation using Dulux Weathershield – Cornish Cream. 🎨

A simple change that has made a huge difference to the appearance of the property and resolving the issue🤩

🏡 Progress on our ongoing home renovation in River, with all major alterations now complete.

The works completed so far include:

• Hallway & lobby: The existing porch and unwanted internal walls have been removed to create a much more open and welcoming entrance space.

• Two new en-suite bathrooms: Both have been formed as part of the new layout.

• Living room: Existing French doors removed, blocked up and made good.

• Five windows: Removed, blocked up and made good to suit the new design.

• Complete new floor plan: The property has been completely reconfigured, transforming it from three smaller bedrooms into two large bedrooms, both featuring en-suite bathrooms, along with a spacious reception area.

The completed areas were left clean, tidy and ready for decoration by the customer.

Next stage: Tiling and fitting of all bathrooms, with plenty more progress pictures to follow!

Water damaged ceiling repaired for Age UK Folkestone🏠

Existing lath and plaster ceiling removed, then boarded with 12.5mm plasterboard 🛠️
Skimmed and left ready to paint 🤩
The Ceiling was then painted using Dulux trade Supermatt white 🎨
Leaving the office space ready to be finished off and put back into use ✏️

Large rounded ceiling plastered 🛠️

The existing ceiling was half boarded and half lath and plaster, we removed the whole ceiling and re boarded it with 12.5mm plasterboard and then skimmed ready for the customer to decorate 🤩

This job was very labour intense with it being a 4 story house and this room being in the loft with a skinny staircase making it difficult to get the plasterboard up 😩

A plastering job we recently completed! 🤩

Existing wallpaper removed uncovering a bad case of distemper.😳
We treated the distemper by washing the walls with sugar soap, stabilising and applying blue grit before skimming the walls and ceiling to a smooth finish ready for the customer to decorate. ✅
We also hand made some cupboard doors for an existing opening in the wall to create some storage space. 🪚
