With the end of 2025 approaching fast most of the house builders especially the bigger ones are also heading towards their end of year, where handover numbers form a massive part of what is reported to shareholders and end of year bonuses etc. Unfortunately this can lead to people being encouraged (forced) into completing on plots that aren't really finished. We belive unless you have the knowledge to do it yourself everyone should commission a professional to inspect/snag their new build purchase, this should be done just before or as soon as possible after completion.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the fitting of the sweeps (sales) at the White Mill Sandwich recently. apart from the Millwright who was one of the gents in the cherry picker and the 2 guys with the crane all the work refurbishing the windmill and the making of the sweeps etc was carried out by the volunteers. Having spoken with some of the volunteers, unfortunately some of the master craftsman that had worked on the Mill over the last 20 or so years are no longer around to see this momentous achievement.
go down and have a look for yourselves it is worth the trip or if your local to the area and you have some free time why not volunteer, they need all people not just craftsman.
