After two years of learning great skills, I started a joint business venture which lasted 17 years. During those years, I learnt many skills which allowed me to become a multi trader. After this successful venture, I wanted to evolve my skills into the management side of this industry which was in both commercial and domestic sectors of construction. The 6 years allowed me to develop new skills such as managing large projects and enhance my interpersonal skills, as well as attaining qualifications alongside the role. In 2022, starting From Trowel to Trees Ltd has been one of my best achievements. My business offers top quality landscaping and construction services, which include project management. I started my career in the construction industry back in 2002, starting at the bottom of the ladder labouring for a landscape company based in Challock, Ashford, after two years learning some great skills i decided to start a new business venture with my at the time, current contracts manager, this partnerships lasted 17+ years before deciding to try my way in the world of management, during my years on the tools, i learnt many skills which allowed me to confirm myself as a multi trader. After the above period i decided to move into management or director roles for 6 years, this was within the commercial and domestic construction sectors. This period allowed me to secure new skills and qualifications along with learning how to manage large projects and improve man management skills. In 2022 i made a great decision to start `From trowel to trees ltd’ and offer high end landscaping and construction services, also including project management on projects clients would like me to be involved with. I enjoy meeting new people and more than anything bringing peoples expectations a reality!!
