Lots of wee jobs today, faulty socket in Camore, putting a double socket into a porch in Brora, exchanging a faulty 3-way rocker switch in Strathsteven and outside lights in Gordonbush area. Fairly got around today thats for sure!

I’m bad at taking photos of what I’ve been working at but did a homer today as being nagged by the wife for months to put an outside plug on the side of our sun lounge so we have a socket to put the lawnmower plug in rather than using extension reels. Just about to go and test it while the grass is dry enough and get points from her for getting a job ticked off the list and getting the grass cut at the same time.

We’ve recently been along to Rainbows End Yurts at Dornoch Caravan & Camping Site to carry out PAT Testing on all electrical appliances — making sure everything is safe, tested, and ready for this year’s visitors.

It’s always great to work somewhere a little different, and these yurts really are something special 🌿

Each of the three yurts is completely unique in design, offering a cosy, memorable stay right here in Dornoch. They’re a fantastic addition to the area and a brilliant option for anyone looking for something a bit different from the usual accommodation.
