What is the difference between a Pre Completion Survey and a Post Completion Survey?

A "pre-completion snagging survey" is conducted before a new build property is officially completed, allowing the builder to fix any identified issues before the buyer moves in, while a "post-completion snagging survey" takes place after completion, providing a more comprehensive inspection that may include using advanced equipment to identify potential problems that could have developed after construction was finished; essentially, the pre-completion survey is a preliminary check, whereas the post-completion survey is a more detailed assessment
