Buttress built to help stop subsidence on this brickwall. Porch refurbed using original materials and reroof.

This cat-slide roof on this Victorian farm house had subsided over time causing the roof to drop the oak structure had rotted out also. So to get it back to its original form, we striped the roof up to the roof join, then we jacked the roof up to original height, from there we could remove the rotten oak posts and beam. New oak was cut in to replace the old, built new brick peers to take the oak posts. Doing this gave the family kitchen so much more light plus with taking some of the dips out of the roof. Really happy with this one.

Really good couple of weeks on this project at Bulmer Farm in the beautiful location of Surrey.

With the clients having Reoccurring problems with the driveway drainage due to build up of ground level and silt in the drainage over the years, plus with storm drains being blocked and soakaway not up to standard this was causing major problems.

So we have striped it back to original ground level and have dug new channels for new drainage to be installed to the storm drains which will then in course be connected to the new soakaway being installed, we are using crate system.

Once drainage and soak-away installed the drive will be relaid with tarmac and finished off with 10mm tar and chip.

Extension refurb complete!
This 40 year old extensions footings had failed causing it to drop and pull away from the main building. To get this project to a completed stage we carried out extensive groundwork’s with new drainage as that had failed also underpinning to ensure that there would be no more movement plus with the added aspect of aesthetics with new brickwork and roof.
