🏗️ Milestone Reached: Concrete Pour Completed

Building on last week’s preparation work, the JDT Power team has now poured the concrete for our client’s new substation plinth and meter base.

With the timber shuttering, rebar fabrication, and welding checks all completed to spec, the team delivered a smooth, controlled pour that’s produced a solid, high‑quality foundation.

The formwork has now been removed, revealing a clean, well‑finished plinth and meter base ready for the next stage.

A big thanks to the site team for maintaining excellent quality control and safety standards from excavation through to curing. Next step: preparing for electrical installation.

The JDT Power team is currently constructing the formwork for a new substation plinth and meter base on behalf of a valued client.

Works completed so far include:
✔️ Setting out and constructing the timber shuttering for the concrete pour.
✔️ Fabricating and installing the reinforced rebar cage.
✔️ Welding the reinforcement cage to ensure stability and maintain the required specification during the concrete pour.
✔️ Carrying out quality checks to ensure compliance with the approved design before concrete placement.

🏗️ Deep Excavation Underway at Barge Walk
Progress update from our high-voltage (HV) diversion project at Barge Walk.
The deep excavation phase is now actively in progress. This critical step prepares the underground route to safely divert complex utility infrastructure.

- High-Voltage Diversion: Rerouting heavy power infrastructure safely.
- Deep Excavation: Specialized digging to required utility depths.
- Safety First: Full ground support and structural monitoring active.
