Great day today installing this FOXESS battery storage system for a customer who already had solar panels. With energy prices continuing to rise, they wanted to make the most of the free energy their panels generate — so battery storage was the perfect solution.

They're also making the most of their energy tariff — charging the batteries overnight when electricity is cheaper, and using that stored power throughout the day.

All batteries and inverter fitted are fully IP rated — built to withstand the elements and built to last 🌧️✅

The customer wanted a quick, cost-effective solution — and that's exactly what we delivered! ✅

What we did:
✅ Removed the dangerous overloaded setup
✅ Installed a new sub-main with RCBO protection
✅ Separated dedicated circuits for lighting and power

Now everything runs safely — no more overloading, no more fire hazard, fully compliant with BS 7671 regulations, and the customer got great value too. 👍

• Kettle + toaster + microwave = too much for one socket

• Spread heavy items across different sockets

• Warm/plugged-in things left on = worth checking too
