🎉 Congratulations to Ben (pictured on the left), who is the winner of our recent charity competition, the 90–90 Darts Challenge! 🎯 In partnership with Missing People and sponsored by Wavin UK and Bristan.

Ben, a plumber in the Dorchester area, visited Dorchester Plumbing Supplies last week when he scored the magic 90 on the dart board not once, but twice! He walked away with our excellent hamper just before the bank holiday weekend. 🍫

Just wanted to thank all that have helped us get everything back to some kind of normal again today. Inwood design guys for rushing in and helping out with moving stock, providing manpower and receptacles for catching water. Chris from Deane Computers getting us back on line. Abbas Gas for sorting the plumbing and heating and Mark Stopforth for sorting the electrics. We have electric and computers working again, phones should be back on sometime Tuesday. The burst roof connectors have worked well and we are ready to fight another day on Tuesday. Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone :-D

So today has been a bit of a test. Our building was struck by lightning this afternoon and in the biblical downpour that followed was flooded. This has left us with no power and subsequently no phones or computers. There is a very good chance we won't be firing on all cylinders tomorrow so please bear with us.

Covid-19 update

Dear all,

We just wanted to clarify our trading position. On Tuesday following the announcement made by Boris Johnson we made the decision to close the trade counter and showroom and suspend deliveries until further notice. We are answering emails, whatsapp, texts etc, and responding to anyone that has an emergency as we recognise plumbers are keyworkers.
The decision to close was a tough one for us but we believe the right one even if financially and business wise this decision doesn't feel comfortable.
Tuesday morning was stressful and after 16 years at Dorchester plumbing supplies doing our very best to respond to all your requirements and say yes, saying no, go home felt alien to us. However unanimously we all heard the instruction loud and clear "stay at home, save lives".
We truly believe that by interrupting the flow of goods as we have will help suppress Covid-19 spreading.
The welfare of colleagues, customers and suppliers is our priority.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times.
