Another one bites the dust 🧱

Plenty of brick changes on this one and it definitely tested me, but we got there in the end. Another property restored and another one added to the portfolio.

Straight onto a semi tomorrow, ready for a massive end to the year.

Life has a funny way of teaching you some valuable lessons. As long as you learn from them, keep moving forward and don’t make the same mistakes twice, you’ll win in the end.

For the rest of this year I’ll be back working alone, grafting like an absolute dog 🐶 Head down, tunnel vision and getting through every job in front of me.

Then come January, I’ll be sat on a beach celebrating New Year, looking back and saying…

“That was hard — but I did it alone.”👊

From tired, stained and trapped in cement… to properly restored. 👌

DOFF cleaned, brickwork carefully restored, prepared properly and repointed in a nhl 2 lime mortar.

No shortcuts. No covering problems up. Just a proper job from start to finish. 🧱🔥

Another one boxed off ✅

This property had years of staining, failing brickwork and cement pointing causing issues where a breathable lime mortar should have been used.

We stripped it right back, carried out a full DOFF clean to remove 100+ years of carbon staining, then prepared every joint properly before repointing in lime mortar.

The difference is night and day.

And straight back to the great gable of Sheffield now the customers have returned off holiday so we can get that one boxed off and do afew days work round the back of additional work

Then returning to the back isle on a full front 🏆
