Another Moleing job completed today for another grateful friend of Thackray's Pest Control.👍😎
The land seems to be totally clear of moles with no new signs of activity as I left this afternoon, but my friend realises that more can move in any time due to her neighbours not bothering controlling the moles on their side of the fence.
The mole hills on the grass banks and silage field have all been levelled and all looks perfect just in time for the arrival of this year’s crop of lambs arriving shortly.
Another first for me today after catching an awful lot of moles in my lifetime including a few white and ginger coloured specimens was to find that I’d actually caught a weasel that had been running the underground mole tunnel system.
I had heard of others very occasionally catching a weasel but it still came as a surprise, shock and moment of sadness for the poor little fella.😢

😢😢They just don’t work!😢😢

A lovely customer had the expense of buying 20 of these sonic boomers to place in or around every new mole hill that appeared on her lovely lawn and had to endure the constant horrible sonic buzzing from these useless gadgets when ever she went in the garden for the the past 6 months.
Thanks to so many of you constantly recommending me on Facebook, this lady and many other likeminded customers have contacted myself over the years at Thackray's Pest Control and have now been able to dispose of their infernal sonic boomers, windmills, mothballs, jeyes fluid, wine bottles, hosepipes and petrol cans, and be happy that their properties are now mole free.👍😎

A cracking result today up in beautiful North Yorkshire for a customer who was having problems with moles on his lawn and adjacent small pony paddocks that he needed clearing as they were ruining the grazing and the quality of his future crop of silage grass for his horse.

An enjoyable ride out on the quad tonight mopping up a few rabbits with the air rifle that were causing grief for the groundskeeper of a local sports centre.
There were not the numbers around like in my usual haunts of North Yorkshire but enough rabbits to cause danger to sportsmen with their constant digging.
