This boiler hadn't been serviced in a few years and it just goes to show the importance of getting an annual service.

The sump on this Ideal logic had a hairline crack which is very common on the older models. The customer wasn't aware that the steam bellowing out from the sump was causing damage to other components, it was only when there was an issue that they called me and when I opened it up it was quite obvious what had been happening.

These Worcester Bosch High flows are great boilers.

I'm in the process of giving the heat exchanger a clean out before flushing the condensate.

An emergency call out this morning to a heating system that's had a nail holding it together for the past several years.

Anyway, everything's up and running now made a repair and the customer no longer has a shower in her lounge.

The cistern is siliconed to the wall, this is when a 20-minute job turns into a 90-minute job, especially when the bolts are absolutely rusted to the pan as well 🥹.
