Project recap | Loughborough College IOT Building

Harbon Electrical Services completed the full M&E package for the new Institute of Technology Building at Loughborough College, working alongside Lindum Construction.

The project included the delivery of comprehensive mechanical and electrical services, as well as the installation of a 15kW solar PV system to support the building's energy efficiency and sustainability goals.

A fantastic project to be involved in and another successful delivery for the team.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK

A brand-new penguin enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park brings with it some specialist engineering behind the scenes.

Harbon Electrical carried out the full Mechanical and Electrical installation for the project, including all services associated with the specialist filtration equipment.

The pool holds approximately 550,000 litres of water, with the filtration system capable of filtering around 200,000 litres per hour. The system also incorporates dosing to help maintain the required water quality and support the penguins’ habitat.

Designed by Zooscapes, the filtration system follows specialist principles for aquatic exhibits, with animal welfare, effective water treatment and ease of maintenance in mind.

A fascinating project where specialist M&E installation plays a key role in supporting the operation of Yorkshire Wildlife Park’s new penguin enclosure.

We’re proud to be back at Castle Park, carrying out works on the West Stand for the Doncaster Knights.

Our team are currently:
• Replacing the existing canopy emergency lighting
• Installing new PA speakers throughout the stand
• Carrying out the associated electrical installation works

Great to be working alongside Bell Lighting and Scratch Music on the project.

Our relationship with the Doncaster Knights goes back around 25 years, having supported the club through sponsorship for many years.

It’s great to continue that relationship by supporting the Knights both on and off the pitch.

More to come as the work progresses.
