AND THEN… because there’s no rest for the wicked! 😂❤️

We squeezed in a cheeky little roofing job back in Branton — and what a location!

This job backed straight onto Yorkshire Wildlife Park, so while we were working we could hear the animals, and because it turned into a late one, we were treated to the most stunning sunset from the roof. 🦁

But enough about the view… here’s what we actually did! 👇

Removed the old coping stones
Thoroughly cleaned and prepared the surfaces
Dressed the coping stones ready to be relaid
Re-fitted them using a slurry primer
Properly relaid and sealed everything to prevent any more leaks for Tony and Jean

Another job done, another happy customer — and hopefully no more leaks!

Dave has years of experience across all aspects of building work and is more than happy to quote for roofing, brickwork, walling and general building jobs, as well as our usual landscaping and paving work.

So… maybe a little rebrand could be on the cards…

🎉🎉 What a busy, but amazing weekend. 🎊🎊

Job number 27 in Willow Glen, and this one certainly gave us a decent fully body workout. 💪💪

First up was an old shed to break down and dispose of. Now, this wasn’t just any old shed… Sue’s dad built it 63 YEARS AGO, and boy, did it show! 😂 It took some serious doing to get it down.

They simply don’t make things like they used to!

Once we’d cleared everything, we dug out the old base, brought in the hardcore and laid 60 x 60 concrete flags, getting everything ready for the new shed being delivered at the end of the month.

Dave even had a little dizzy moment on the whacker! 😂 Don’t worry though, I guided him back onto the straight and narrow and we cracked on.

Then it was off to a cheeky little roofing job… but you’ll have to wait for the pictures for that one! 👀

💥💥💥 WHAT. AN. AMAZING. JOB! 💥💥💥

Another fantastic transformation for one of our customers in Branton — and we’ve just worked out that this is job number 26 on this particular street!

Even better, we’re heading back onto the same street tomorrow to do more work for our repeat customers, John and Sue. We really can’t thank our customers enough for continuing to recommend us and bringing us back time and time again.

This job was very much a case of out with the old and in with the new. We ripped out the old, tired block paving and replaced it with beautiful porcelain paving, giving the whole garden a completely fresh and modern look.

And then there are the steps…

We honestly think these should be classed as a work of art! Once again, Dave’s attention to detail is what really sets this job apart. It’s those little details that make such a huge difference to the finished result.

And one of my favourite features has to be the manhole cover.

Why ruin a beautiful garden with an ugly manhole cover when you can have it designed to blend seamlessly with the rest of the garden? It still gives you full access when needed, but without sticking out like a sore thumb.

It’s all about the details — and Dave really does have an eye for them.

Another very happy customer, another transformation we’re incredibly proud of, and another street where we seem to be making ourselves at home!

Holy moly!!!
Check out this fencing job we did yesterday for our repeat customers, Paul and Vicky!

We did some clearance, removing old flower beds, digging out some old tree roots, fitting a new fence on the perimeter, and then Dave doing a bit of walling to keep those existing flower beds nicely intact, and Dave being Dave, and a huge animal lover rescued used a Bee, with some sugar water and lift to safety. 🐝 🐝

These customers have such a brilliant vision for their garden, and we honestly can't wait to see where the next stage takes us!

We pride ourselves on good, honest work, and we think it shows in the number of customers who come back to us time and time again for their landscaping projects, it's like visiting friends sometimes, which is why we put our hearts and souls in the work. 🥰

And this garden is going to get even more exciting… 🐟
Eventually, a koi carp pond will be going in, and Dave has already got ideas flying around and plans forming for the finished design.

Knowing Dave, it'll be something pretty special!

And finally… thank you for the amazing pots of coffee, guys! ☕

Sundays might not be designed for work, but they are definitely designed for good coffee, nice people, cracking gardens and a bit of George Micheal!

Sunday morning tunes, hard work and good vibes!

Who said Sundays are for sitting around and resting? 😂

Dave and Gary are cracking on with the work, but apparently they’ve decided the job site is also the perfect place for a little dance-off!

A little throwback to some work Dave & Gary got stuck into over the summer!

The original brickwork had been built up to the heads of the windows by others, so the boys took over from there and got stuck in.

Lintels fitted
Gable ends built up
Pillars fully built
Porch constructed and brought together

And, of course, none of this could possibly have happened without Betty supervising the whole operation. She made absolutely sure every brick was laid with Dave’s usual attention to detail… although we're still not sure how much actual work she did herself!

Dave really is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his work. He has an eye for detail, takes pride in getting things right, and can look at a job and work out how to turn the customer's ideas into reality.

Gary brings his own wicked personality to the mix, which keeps everyone entertained while the work gets done!

From brickwork and patios to complete garden transformations, there isn't much Dave and his team can't turn their hands to.

Another job, another transformation, and another example of why attention to detail matters.
