Something a bit different from the workshop 👀
Most of you know us for memorials and kitchen worktops, but we've also been busy on a large commercial project in Oxford. We're working as stone subcontractor to Bowmer + Kirkland on Nash Court, a new building with some really complex curved stonework.
What you're looking at is terrazzo, made from chips of marble set in a binder. It's been cut into sweeping arcs, curved counter tops and bent facing panels that wrap around bespoke joinery. Every curve has to be spot on, so each piece is templated, cut, finished and laid out in our Didcot workshop before it goes to site.
It's the same team and the same workshop that makes your memorials and worktops, just on a bigger scale.
We'll share the finished install once it's in. Got a project that needs stone, big or small? Call 01235 812500 or send us a message.
