Heads up regarding jobs booked in for October/early November. I may need to cancel at short notice to go on paternity leave. We are blessed to be able to share the news that a new addition to our family is due to arrive later this month.

Thanks for your understanding

Just because it’s working, doesn’t mean it’s safe!
Please get your boiler serviced regularly by someone who knows what they’re doing 🙄Secondly please ensure you have an approved Carbon Monoxide alarm in your home when you have any fuel burning appliances.

This has to be one of the worst Worcester Greenstar boilers I’ve seen in a while. Due to lack of correct maintenance this boiler was leaking over 500pm of CO when I arrived on site.

Burner gasket failed (needs changing every 5-years) leaking Products Of Combustion.

Air Pressure Switch tube split - leaking POC’s

Condense trap blocked & backing up into the heat cell, don’t know how it even worked.

Replaced rubber gas tube as this was showing signs of cracking.

Good evening! I know it’s short notice, I’ve just had a cancellation tomorrow morning. Leaving me with a gap between 08:00-11:00. If anyone needs a boiler service, gas works or any general plumbing let me know.

Thanks,

Henry

This week we removed a standard efficiency floor standing cast iron Potterton Kingfisher MF. Replacing it with a high efficiency Vaillant EcoTec Plus 415. We also replaced the old unsupported Nest controller and fitted Hive smart controls. On top of that we installed a Vaillant Advance protection filter and Powerflushed the heating system to ensure optimum efficiency and to prolong the life of the new boiler & existing system.
After 1-day of running the customer has informed me that their new boiler is saving them around £1/day when heating their hot water in the morning for 2-hours. That’s £365/year or £3650 over 10-years (the length of the guarantee). We expect to see further savings in comparison to their old boiler when heating season comes around.

If you have an old standard efficiency boiler and would like to discuss energy saving upgrades please get in touch.
