Another lathe job completed.

We like a challenge here, and when we were asked to replicate a small part with no drawings and only basic measurements we leapt at the chance.

These are only a few of the many steps required, but shows some of the processes involved.

The part was then finished with a 3 stage polish and handed to another satisfied customer.

We also fix things!.

A simple thread repair was all that was required to keep this cast iron part alive.

Two 1.5D 3/8” UNC thread inserts were fitted to allow this machine to keep doing what it does best.

Another small project we were involved with. This time the customer supplied all the materials for this timber trolley, along with some very rough dimensions.

We managed to work together to come up with a suitable design that met their specification, which was then fabricated in house by Tom Harber at T.H. Electrical & Mechanical.

Function over form was requested, and it was put to work before it got the chance to see any paint!.

It’s not just big power we can deal with here!.

The addition of a fuel pressure sensor and injector duty cycle was required for data logging purposes on a BMW. It was fitted using the correct colour coded wiring, factory spec loom tape, and connectors for trouble free operation.

A batch of framing pins being churned out for a local trade. The 3/4” pins are very popular but they are available in a range of sizes, this time 10mm and 12mm were also chosen In 316 stainless steel.

Once finished they will be put to work on timber projects around the county.

A customer requested a condition report to be carried out on this installation. Needless to say there were a number of faults and recommendations written up.

Thankfully all the remedial works were carried out and the installation given a clean bill of health afterwards.
