Today I cleaned one of most inefficient heating systems I have come across. Why? Because of sludge build up in the radiators. The customer told me this system had been power flushed 4 years ago!
I got every bit of sludge out by carrying out a magnacleanse system flush.
I had to empty the machine 3 times due to the amount collected and from the pictures you can see the central heating water running through the connection hoses from during the flush and just before I had finished.
This job took 9 hours to get clean. You can now hardly touch the radiators, some had to be turn down to prevent burning your hand.
So what does this mean for this customer? This customers heating will now reach the desired room temperature much faster so won’t need the heating on as long, it’s now running more efficiently and also increasing the life of the boiler.
The savings this customer should now have on there gas bill will cover the cost of the flush and more 😁
