Another tree job completed this Saturday 💪
This one was all about making a subtle but worthwhile difference. We removed two ash stems from the left hand side, cleared the overhang into the customer's garden, then carried out a crown thin and crown lift.
The finished result has opened the tree up while keeping its natural shape, allowing more light into the garden and the house.
It might not look like a huge change in the photos, but the difference in the garden is noticeable.

planter transformation completed by the DGS Trees & Landscapes team 🌿
We were called in to replace the existing raised planter, which had completely rotted and was literally crumbling as we removed it.
We stripped out the old timber and built a new solid timber planter, giving the area a much stronger and cleaner finish while keeping the existing planting in place.
The customer was really pleased with the finished result, and even better, we’ve got more work coming our way from them!

A good transformation on this one 🌳

We were called in to remove a few dead trees, along with an overgrown elm that was affecting the light down the path and a thorn tree that had also become an issue.
Everything was safely removed with no problems, opening the area back up, bringing in much more natural light and creating a safer environment around the property.
Another job completed safely and professionally, with a big difference made to the space.

We were out today helping carry out deadwooding and removing stress growth from this mature ash tree to help keep it as healthy as possible.🌳🌳
Ash dieback is unfortunately affecting trees across the UK, but recent studies have suggested that carefully removing dead and damaged wood can help some trees continue to recover and manage the disease.
The difference might not be obvious in the photos, but the tree has had a good tidy up and is in a much better condition moving forward.🥳

We've completely transformed this outdoor space into a clean, simple, and low-maintenance garden that the customer can enjoy all year round.

Tall hedges? No problem! 🌿💪
Today we were helping Hodges Garden Services tackle these impressive laurel hedges surrounding the rear garden.
They were so tall we were maxing out our 10ft Henchman ladder! 😅
It was a beautiful day to be working outside, and after plenty of teamwork, we got the hedges looking neat, tidy, and back under control.

The customer was over the moon with the transformation and has already asked the team back to keep them maintained next time around the best compliment we could ask for! 🙌
