The start of a big commission piece for a lovely local couple I've been working with recently! Solid oak top for a butchersblock style island unit. This measures 970 x 770mm and nearly 100mm thick... Needless to say it's a hefty chunk! 😂

It was a pleasure to build a desk and Vinyl/CD storage container for a local elderly gentleman. Lack of mobility meant it had to be built to specific requirements to make use and access as easy as possible for him. Made from English Ash machined by .hardwoods, I was able to assemble and fit on site before sanding and finishing before final fitment.

Hopefully it will bring hours of pleasure to him now he can listen to his records again 🥰

Sunny morning cutting down a dining table top for a customer ☺️ It's too long to fit in the space they have so I've cut it down in length, rounded the corners, routed the round back on the top edge, sanded and will shortly be refitting 👌
