Great to catch up with Paul Harris from EWI Pro Render Solutions, who personally delivered our new EWI Pro Approved Installer Pack to Blakeston Plastering & Rendering Limited. Paul combined the visit with a site inspection for an exciting upcoming lime plastering and rendering project in Northamptonshire, where we’ll be using products from EWI Pro’s specialist Lime Range.

We’re looking forward to putting the system to work. EWI Pro’s breathable lime products are particularly suited to traditional, period and heritage properties, where managing moisture and maintaining breathability are essential. It’s great to have the technical support of EWI Pro behind us and to continue developing the specialist lime plastering and lime rendering side of our business.

A great day spent at EWI Pro in Birmingham catching up with Technical & Training Manager, for an excellent product familiarisation session.

I’ve known Paul Harris for several years now, and one thing that has always stood out is his dedication to delivering excellence in rendering systems. His technical knowledge is exceptional, but it’s his friendly approach, willingness to help and quick wit that make every training session both enjoyable and genuinely valuable.

Today’s session focused on getting hands-on with EWIpro’s extensive range of pre-blended lime renders and lime plastering products. It was a fantastic opportunity to work with the materials, understand where each product excels, and appreciate how modern lime systems have evolved.

One thing that today’s training reinforced is that render is not just render.

Our industry is constantly evolving. New products are being developed, existing systems are continually improved, and application techniques continue to become faster, more efficient and more reliable. Behind every bag of material is extensive research, testing and development by scientists in laboratories, producing systems that remove much of the guesswork, reduce the margin for error and deliver consistent performance when installed to specification.
