📍 A fresh look in Ockbrook, Derby

Take a look at these recently installed anthracite grey uPVC windows. The customer chose dummy sashes as an optional extra, giving the opening and fixed sections matching sash and glass sizes. The result is a beautifully symmetrical finish — one of those details that really makes the difference! 👌

At Capital Windows, quality goes beyond the colour and style. We carefully choose our frames, glazing and hardware to create a window and door package that looks fantastic, helps keep the warmth in and gives you peace of mind. Better thermal performance can help reduce heating costs, and high security locking systems come as standard on all our windows and doors.

If you’re thinking about new windows or doors, give me a call for a quotation. I’ll be happy to talk through the options with you.

🏡 NEW PROJECT STARTING IN CRICH, DERBYSHIRE

We’re back with a long-standing customer in Crich who we’ve had the pleasure of completing numerous projects for over the years, including extensions, bathrooms and alterations.

This time, we’re creating something a little bit special.

The project involves a new kitchen extension to a beautiful 16th-century cottage, combining the character of the original property with a high-end, contemporary finish.

The design will feature:

▪️ A balcony/roof terrace above the new kitchen extension
▪️ A large walk-on glass skylight, bringing natural light into the kitchen below
▪️ Glass balustrading around the balcony for a clean, uninterrupted look
▪️ Black Crittall-style, minimalist glazing to contrast beautifully against the original cottage
▪️ A carefully considered blend of traditional character and modern architecture

This is exactly the type of project we love — taking an amazing period property and adding something modern without losing what makes the original building special.

We’ll be sharing the progress from start to finish, so keep an eye on our page to see this one take shape.

If you’re considering an extension, renovation or a more unusual bespoke project, get in touch with Capital Windows.

Capital Windows Derby – Guardian Approved Warm Roof Installers

🏡 IS YOUR CONSERVATORY TOO HOT TO USE THIS SUMMER? ☀️🥵

Take a look at this Guardian Warm Roof we recently supplied and installed in Hilton.

As a Guardian Approved Warm Roof Installer, we transformed this conservatory into a room the customer can comfortably enjoy all year round. We also gave the new roof a little extra height, creating a much more spacious feel inside.

The difference has been huge. The customer has told us they’re using the room so much more now – especially during the hot weather we’ve had, as it’s noticeably cooler and far more comfortable.

And there’s another benefit they weren’t expecting quite as much…

🌧️ No more deafening rain hammering on the old conservatory roof!

A Guardian Warm Roof can transform an old conservatory from a room that’s too hot in summer, too cold in winter and noisy when it rains into a properly insulated, comfortable living space you can actually use.

⭐ SPECIAL OFFER – COMPLIMENTARY DECORATING INCLUDED

We’re currently offering a complimentary decorating service with every Guardian Warm Roof installation, helping give you a completely finished room ready to enjoy.

If you’ve spent another summer avoiding your conservatory because it’s simply too hot, now could be the perfect time to do something about it.

Another amazing five-star review from one of our lovely customers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m not entirely sure how to share a Google review properly, so with my limited technical knowledge, I’ve taken a photo of it instead! 😂

Thank you so much for the brilliant feedback, Ben. We really appreciate it, and we’re delighted that your mum is so pleased with the new Guardian Warm Roof we installed for her.
