Lancaster Bomber!

My latest paving design making steady progress (or flying along)🤣

This doesn’t have a home yet! But I’m sure it will find its pride of place.

Still a few tweaks and additions to do, and choose the right background colour.

Big progress this week.

A large area when all paths are included.

Many tons of rubble taken, then to find they were laid mainly on soil so a big dig out started and then replaced with hardcore.

Now on to the laying of this grey natural sandstone.
Really nice stuff to lay and every slab primed with slurry for extra strength and quality.

Something I’m personally really proud of is the unique custom designs I design, cut, create and install.

This particular design was chosen for a previous customer whose garden is a haven for all birds and it’s really nice to see.

So when they approached wanting a design for their front step, my creative side kicked in.

A blackbird was the idea, and having a tile of wood affect porcelain left over from a previous job, it made sense to create a branch for it to sit on.

Obviously that was making it more tricky, but I’m never one to shy away from a challenge.

The results and feedback speak for themselves. 😁❤️

More work completed by the C&C team.

This was a very challenging job, with very tight access through a passageway so no diggers or machinery could get in.

This job consisted of demolition of a very well built large, deep pond with substantial concrete walls.
This was all demolished and crushed to use as hardcore to fill the lower levels of pond. The old concrete paving slabs were also crushed and reused to fill and get levels correct for the new patio.

With a new porcelain paving (Bannau Sand) from Pennine Paving, we created this very smart, clean, sleek looking patio.

Also at the end we installed a Glass Balustrade rail which just finishes it off nicely.

Very happy customers and a happy landscaping team too. 😁
