They’d wanted a putting green for a while. But with a garden split across levels and tricky ground, they didn’t want to hand it to just anyone, so they put it off.
Then they found us.
First we had to undo a previous builder’s patio and deal with heavy clay. Then we built it back up, 140mm deep, in compacted layers. We set the contours from laser-levelled datum points so every putt takes a bit of thought: 10mm pile on the green, 38mm in the rough.
One week, start to finish. They’ve had us back twice since, with another job booked for next year.
