🏡 **ILKESTON GARDEN TRANSFORMATION — DONE!** ✅🌿

Another little transformation completed over in Ilkeston yesterday for Carley, turning a tired, uneven garden into a smart, practical and **low-maintenance outdoor space!** 👌

Here's what we've created:

✅ **Raised Artificial Grass Area** – A fresh, green lawn that's looking great all year round, without the mowing or muddy patches!

✅ **Central Sleeper Step** – A neat, practical solution to accommodate the exposed tree roots and the change in levels.

✅ **Decorative Black Ice Gravel Area** – A raised feature beneath the existing tree, creating the perfect space for decorative pots and plants.

✅ **Timber Sleeper Edging** – Giving everything a clean, defined finish.

🌳 We've worked around the existing tree to make the most of the available space while keeping the garden practical and easy to maintain.

**Small garden, big difference!** 💚

👀🌿 SNEAKY PEEK WEEK CONTINUES…

And guess who’s back? 🐾😂

🎬 INDY RETURNS!

She’s watched the Bowes lads working on The Enchanted Garden for long enough and has finally decided it’s time to show them how it’s done…

🌿 NEW ROLE: ARTIFICIAL GRASS INSTALLER

Straight onto the new lawn.

Checking the levels. ✅
Testing the comfort. ✅
Inspecting the workmanship. ✅
Generally getting in the way. ✅😂

We’re not sure she’ll make it through her probation period…

But one thing’s certain:

🐾 THE PAWS OF APPROVAL HAVE BEEN GIVEN.

Another little glimpse of The Enchanted Garden — but remember…

👀 Only Sneaky Peeks until the BIG reveal.

🌿 WEEK 5 — SNEAKY PEEKS ONLY 👀🌿

✨ THE ENCHANTED GARDEN ✨

We’re into Week 5 now… but that’s about as much as we’re showing you. 😏

From here on in, only sneaky peeks are allowed until the full reveal.

A glimpse of the Egyptian Limestone…
A flash of those sweeping curves…
The dark sett detailing…
And just enough to show how everything is starting to flow together. 👌

There’s been a serious amount of craftsmanship gone into creating this garden — particularly where the paving, curves, pathways and different areas all meet.

But we’re not spoiling it now.

We’ve taken you through the groundwork, the levels, the construction and the paving…

Now you’ll have to wait to see how the story ends. 👀🌿

There are quicker ways.
There are easier ways.

But then there’s the Bowes way. 💪🌿

🎬 FULL REVEAL COMING SOON…

18/09/2026

🔨 YOU CAN’T BUY THIS…

Keykerb T-pieces simply aren’t available.

So when the design calls for one, what do Bowes do?

We make our own. 👌

Measured.
Cut.
Shaped.
Built by hand to fit exactly as it should.

It would be easy to find another way around it.

But that’s not what we do.

Because sometimes it’s the smallest details — the ones most people will never even notice — that make the biggest difference to the finished garden.

We don’t change the design because the right piece doesn’t exist.

We create the right piece. 🔥

And this is where a massive thank you to Zac is deserved.

The skill, patience and pride he puts into his work every single day is a huge part of what makes Bowes what it is.

Thank you, Zac. ❤️

There are quicker ways.

There are easier ways.

But there’s the Bowes way. 💪🌿

🌿 DAY 17 UPDATE 👷‍♂️🌿

✨ THE ENCHANTED GARDEN ✨

Now we’re really starting to see the design come to life… 👀🔥

Day 17 and the transformation is gathering pace.

More of the Egyptian Limestone is down, the pathways are taking shape and those sweeping curves framed with the charcoal Keykerbs are really starting to define the different areas of the garden.

This is the stage where all the planning and groundwork begins to pay off.

What started as lines on a design is now becoming an actual garden — with every level, curve, pathway and detail working together. 👌

There’s still plenty to do, and you can see from the video that we’re very much still in the middle of a working site…

But stand back for a moment and you can already see where this one is heading. 🌿

And we’re certainly not rushing the details just to get it finished.

Every cut.
Every curve.
Every detail.

There are quicker ways to do things.

There are easier ways to do things.

But then there’s the Bowes way. 💪🌿

Keep watching — The Enchanted Garden is getting closer… 👀🔥

🚨 SPOTTED IN LONG EATON… 🚨

A garden slowly turning into something that looks suspiciously expensive. 😂🌿

Three weeks in at The Enchanted Garden and things are really starting to come together.

There’s been mud.
There’s been rain.
There’s been an unhealthy obsession with getting every curve and cut absolutely bang on. 👀😂

But we’re getting there…

Apparently there are quicker and easier ways to landscape a garden.

We’ve chosen to completely ignore them. 🤦‍♂️😂

Have a nosey at the video and let us know what you think so far. 👇🌿
