🏡 Kitchen Update | Levenshulme

A quick look at where we’re up to on this project 👀

The kitchen area is really starting to take shape, with the drawings giving a glimpse of what the finished space will look like.

We’ve also now got the walls plastered, giving us a much clearer idea of how the finished space is going to come together. 👌

Big shoutout to Casey Plastering Services for the plastering work.

From drawings and design through to the build, Finalfix can take care of it all.

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Harley!

Harley is a General Labourer here at Finalfix and has quickly become a great addition to the team. Since joining us, he’s got stuck straight in and has already been involved in some of our bigger jobs, taking everything in his stride and showing that he’s not afraid of a bit of hard work.

Harley is always willing to lend a hand wherever he’s needed and brings a great attitude to every job. He’s a very hard worker, and his willingness to get involved and help the team hasn’t gone unnoticed.

He also happens to be best friends with Oliver, so it’s probably no surprise that the entertainment levels at Finalfix have gone up another notch! 😂 The two of them definitely keep everyone on their toes and make sure there’s never a dull day on site.

It’s been great to see Harley settle into the team so well, especially while taking on some challenging projects so early on. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue to gain experience, develop his skills and become an even bigger part of the Finalfix team.

Keep up the great work, Harley and maybe give the rest of the team a bit of peace every now and then! 😂👏

A full transformation from an empty space into a modern, practical working environment.

This project included the creation of a new reception area, two offices, break room and accessible WC, bringing together multiple specialist trades to deliver the finished space from start to finish.

The works included:

▪️ Suspended ceilings
▪️ Joinery & kitchen installation
▪️ New lighting, heating, sockets & sensors

It’s time to introduce another member of the Finalfix team – meet Oliver!

Oliver is one of our apprentice bricklayers and has become a brilliant part of the team. Always positive and rarely short of something to say, he’s definitely one of the main sources of entertainment at Finalfix and knows how to keep everyone smiling on site!

Throughout his apprenticeship, Oliver has been building his knowledge and confidence while getting stuck into the practical side of the trade. Not everything came naturally straight away – getting to grips with spreading took some perseverance – but he kept at it, and the improvement in his skills since then has been great to see.

A project that particularly stands out for Oliver was an extension in Manchester. Being involved throughout the job and watching everything come together was a great experience, made even better by working with some lovely customers.

For Oliver, it’s the team around him that makes the biggest difference. Having people to learn from, have a laugh with and rely on has made his time at Finalfix all the more enjoyable.

His message to anyone thinking about becoming an apprentice is simple: “Go for it.”

We’re looking forward to seeing Oliver continue to develop his skills – and, of course, continue providing the entertainment along the way! 😂👏

🚜 Luzley Phase 2 is officially underway!

After such a huge journey with the original Luzley project and keeping you all updated every step of the way, it’s brilliant to be back on site and starting the next chapter.

Today, Howard and the Hartshead Plant and Services Ltd team have been getting stuck in and digging the foundations. 🏗️

The first few steps of a project are always exciting, and we can’t wait to see this one take shape.
