Something a bit different, making up a slightly enlarged and more attractive hand grip for an ap900. Boring fitting bit done, next to carve it to a comfortable hand fit. Piece of walnut to replace cheek rest to follow also, and forend .....we'll see how it progresses.

Just noticed one of my followers is Ian sirrel, who makes and sells the Sirius reach IR illuminator. It prompted me to make this little post.
Last year I said I would sell up the heavier scopes and go over to the Zulus v2's. I did and the Zulus scopes still are great. ( I've got 2 currently sat in rimfires).
But ..... I realised the Alpex 4k was still the king of night vision, when conditions aren't so great, that larger sensor and lens just does a better job at distance. And the Sirius torch is the best illuminator I've come across to go with the Alpex!!
Now the "pro" pictured behind it is better in the daytime, and quite decent at night, but for low light and night the Alpex 4k is still king 👍, if you've got one, hang onto it!
The Zulus scopes are wicked on the rimfires and certainly can do fine on centrefire, but this is my preference for things at present. The wraith esl from ludicrous lumens is the best illuminator I've found for the Zulus scopes. 👍

Some recent jobs, may have missed one or two. The hw100 included a refinish, the FX king was to router a new recess for the cocking lever ( in preparation to switch sides of the cocking lever. The lee Enfield.303 was the oldest gun I've worked on. Comb riser not cut from the stock but newly made up and fixed via height adjustable pins.
