What a beautiful day, the sun is shining and the leaves are just getting the first hints of their autumn colour. Now is great time to get stocked up with kiln dried logs for the colder weather ahead.

We currently have Elm chopping blocks in stock while we always have chopping blocks its unusual to have Elm ones. They are approx 17 to 18 inches high and a foot across, perfect for anyone who wants to make their own kindling.
Elm is the best wood for chopping blocks it is really, really tough and as it ages it only gets tougher. But unfortunately Dutch Elm disease kills most Elm trees before they get big enough so stocks are limited. Order yours online at www.leadbeaterservices.co.uk for just £14 + delivery (free on orders over £60)
Ps. Axe and sticks not included

A little bit of Elm coming through the processer today, we don't get much of it as Dutch Elm disease kills them before they are fully grown. This bit is so tough its making the machine groan but it does make wonderful firewood if its properly dry, our kilns will see to that.💪🪓
