Orkney Service visit.
Last month our Heat pump Engineer Billy was tasked with heading up to the Orkney islands in Scotland to look at, and do some servicing on some swimming pool units that hadn't been looked at in a while.
All in all he had a successful week away, albeit missing one of his ferries stranding him on one of the islands for the night.
In his words "What an amazing place! Very very quiet and even more remote! After completing my days work I would have a good few hours to go exploring.
I had to catch little ferries between the islands which run once a day and seem to be the only means of transport to the outside world. I learnt this the hard way by missing one of my returning ferries leaving me stranded on an island with a population of about 17 people for the night.
All in all a very enjoyable trip and defiantly the furthest I’ve ever travelled for work."
Again doing whatever we can to look after our customers.
