Gorgeous garden transformation for a large Victorian house in Cheshire.

After the topographical survey, we brought in arborists yesterday as there are a few trees with Tree Protection Orders (TPOs), and established trees.

As with understanding the house’s legacy, before I start designing I need to understand how to best to work with the tree legacy and protect them.

There are a number of fruit and nut trees in the garden too, including this Hazel:) Corylus avellana.

I find inspiration everywhere in the landscape, often it’s the texture and patterns on stone, or the views, prospecting, with big skies.
