What Saturday night meant to us goes far beyond trophies and titles.

Over the last few days, we’ve been overwhelmed reading the messages, comments and support following the awards — especially the words shared by Kian’s mum about his journey. With permission, we wanted to share part of that story because it perfectly reflects what L&T Electricals is all about.

We might be a small business, but we’re a close one. It’s not just about the work for us — it’s about the people behind it. The long days, the support, the trust, the loyalty, and looking after each other like family.

Seeing Kian grow in confidence, find purpose, and build a future for himself has been incredibly special to witness. To hear what that journey has meant to him and his family genuinely means more than any award ever could.

A massive night for the team at L&T Electricals and a moment we’re incredibly proud to share.

Huge congratulations to Kian on winning 🏆 Apprentice of the Year 🏆 at just 17 years old. Kian has shown outstanding dedication, enthusiasm, and a fantastic attitude towards learning the trade from day one. This recognition is thoroughly deserved and only the beginning of what promises to be a brilliant career.

And an equally huge congratulations to Liam for winning ⚡ Sparky of the Year ⚡ for the second year running — an incredible achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, professionalism, and high standards he brings to every project. Liam continues to lead by example and takes real pride in helping develop the next generation coming through the industry.

Seeing both mentor and apprentice recognised on the same night makes this achievement even more special for everyone at L&T Electricals. Nights like this are what it’s all about — hard work being recognised and rewarded.

Tonight, both Liam and Kian are up for awards, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved.
Liam has been nominated for Sparky of the Year for the second year running after taking home the win last year — a huge achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and standards he brings to the industry every single day.

And to top it off, Kian has been nominated for Apprentice of the Year, which is an incredible achievement and a testament to the effort and commitment he’s shown throughout his apprenticeship.

We were recently called out to investigate a ventilation issue — and it didn’t take long to find the problem.

The ducting was poorly installed with excessive bends, loose connections, and heavy build-up restricting airflow. This kind of setup doesn’t just reduce performance — it can lead to condensation, damp, and mould over time.

At L&T Electricals we've been busy transforming lovely customers gardens, making it more a place to be than an or a dreaded walk to take the bins out! Or just simply coming home after them long days!

We recently replaced a full outdoor lighting system to suit this specific customers needs, they didnt want flood lights as they weren't keen and wanted somthing more stylish and welcoming.

They wanted sensors to pick up movement at multiple locations, depending on which way they're coming or going to. They asked and we gave them exactly what they dreamt of, the new lights have made their beautiful home more fabulous 👌
