Concrete slab pour delivered on programme ✔️

This week at Greater London House, we completed the first slab pour to the southern end of the LGF terrace. The former ASOS storage room has been infilled, creating the footprint for the extended terrace. Northvale Construction led the demolition, preparation and pour.

New upstands are now in place to support future planters, marking the shift from demolition into construction and moving us closer to transforming this enclosed area into a new amenity for the building.

A great milestone for Northvale and the wider team!

⚽🌍 World Cup Sweepstake Success 🌍⚽

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our World Cup Sweepstake. Together, we raised £400 for Crisis, helping to support people experiencing homelessness through learning, skills and employment programmes.

Congratulations to Spain on becoming champions for the second time, and to Plamen Peychev of Vert Build, our lucky sweepstake winner! It's fantastic to see a bit of friendly competition not only creating excitement throughout the tournament but also making a meaningful difference to those who need it most.

🏗️ A great team effort over the weekend saw the successful installation of a Wolff 235B tower crane within the restricted lightwell at Greater London House using two mobile cranes.

While many only see the road closures and heavy lifting, behind every complex crane installation is weeks of detailed planning, temporary works design and collaboration. This operation required permissions from Camden Council and Network Rail, alongside close communication with local residents and building occupants.

The crane will remain on site until February 2027, playing a key role in delivering this major refurbishment, supporting the level 6 terrace steelwork and complex external works along Hampstead Road.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this challenging installation a success!

Our Greater London House project in Camden is progressing behind the scenes as we prepare for the next phase of works.

With site hoarding and acoustic protection now in place, we're creating a safe, well-managed environment while keeping disruption to the building's occupants to a minimum. Refurbishing live, occupied buildings takes careful planning, coordination and respect for those using the space every day—something we're proud to deliver on every project.

🏗️ Another successful crane lift at our Welbeck Street project in Marylebone!

Last weekend a carefully planned crane lift delivered key materials to the roof level as the project moves into its final stages. With only a narrow balcony available for delivery, each pallet had to be positioned with precision. Thanks to the planning and teamwork involved, the operation was completed safely, allowing the project to continue progressing towards completion.

🌍 is a great reminder that small actions can lead to meaningful change!

At Vert Projects, sustainability is embedded in how we work. As part of London Climate Action Week, several team members joined the Climate Essentials lunch-and-learn training sessions to deepen their understanding of carbon accounting; from learning the basics, setting a baseline and Net Zero target, through to thinking about supply chain emissions.

The sessions proved really helpful and we are now on our way to developing our Scope 1-3 carbon reduction plan 🌱
