Stars - St Augustine's Repertory Society We are a very friendly group, with a diverse membership. They brought a mix of expertise and enthusiasm together with a strong can-do attitude.

St Augustine’s Repertory Society (STARS) was founded in 1981 by a small group of friends within St Augustines, who were keen to establish a new social dimension to the parish. They had nothing to start with - no stage – no props – no costumes – no scenery but they were very determined. Above all there was commitment to engage with everyone around who was in any way interested in amateur theatre no

matter at what standard. It was then, as it is now, all about having fun whilst presenting as professional production as possible.

We are holding another read through, at Darlington St Augustine's Parish Centre, on Sunday the 22nd March at 7.30pm

Well this time last month, we were all celebrating a wonderful week of performing the Sleeping Beauty Pantomime ... Well done to every one involved .. a sterling job 🤗 and special thanks to all who came to see us, you the audience, you are the secret ingredient to any show, thank you for your support.. 💖.... we are in the process of planning more shows this year .. One of which is the play The Pittman Painters auditions are coming up soon .. I will be posting the details ..
