At Whitson Bathroom Co, our design process is about much more than choosing colours and products.

We take the time to produce accurate scale drawings of your new bathroom, allowing us to carefully plan the position of every element and make sure the design works properly within the space.

From the location of the toilet, basin and shower to door clearances, pipework, drainage, electrical requirements and practical access — we think about the details before the work begins.

Our scale drawings allow us to identify potential issues at the design stage, rather than discovering them once we're on site.

It means we can make sure:

• The layout works properly
• Everything fits within the available space
• Fixtures and fittings are correctly positioned
• Plumbing and drainage requirements are considered
• Access and clearances are practical
• The finished bathroom looks as good as it functions

Bathroom Completed in Morningside.

Another bathroom transformation completed in Morningside, and another delighted customer.

This project presented some challenges behind the scenes, particularly with the drainage. We installed new drainage into an existing cast iron connection, rationalised the existing pipework and installed an AAV (Air Admittance Valve) to ensure the system was properly vented and flowing correctly.

For the finish, we used a combination of tiles from Collinson Ceramics.

Amazonia Sapphire Gloss 200 x 65mm tiles were used within the shower area, creating a striking feature, while Ultrablock Desert 30 x 60cm Rectified tiles were installed across the remaining walls and floors for a clean, contemporary finish.

The bathroom installation is now complete, with the final decoration work to be carried out by the client.

It’s often the work that you don’t see that makes the difference. Careful planning, quality products and experienced installation are all part of delivering a bathroom that not only looks great, but performs properly for years to come.

🚿 Happy Friday! 🚿

Another project completed in Woodburn — and what a transformation!

After uncovering a number of issues during the strip-out, including incorrect installation methods and fittings, we’ve now put everything right and created a shower area that is built to stand the test of time.

The refurbishment includes a brand new MX shower tray, Grant Westfield Multipanel – Graphite Elements, with the existing shower screen and shower valve carefully refitted to complete the transformation.

The customer is absolutely over the moon with the final result, which is exactly what we aim for on every project — quality workmanship, attention to detail and a bathroom finished properly from start to finish.
