🛠️ Another Productive Day on Site 🛠️

Today the Briyár team delivered two reactive maintenance projects for valued clients within the social housing sector.

For Speirs Gumley, our team carried out emergency timber works, safely removing deteriorated soffit sections, exposing and inspecting the existing structure, installing new treated timber framing where required, and fitting new plywood soffit panels to restore the canopy and make the area safe for residents and the public.

Alongside this, we completed reactive brickwork repairs for Ferguslie Park Housing Association carefully opening up defective brickwork, carrying out the necessary repairs, and reinstating the wall to a high standard with matching brickwork.

Whether it’s an emergency response, reactive maintenance, or planned refurbishment, our focus remains the same delivering safe, high-quality workmanship with minimal disruption to our clients and the communities they serve.

Briyár Limited are looking to expand our external refurbishment division and are currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer / Roughcaster to join our growing team working across Central Scotland.

Rate of Pay:
✅ £180 per day
✅ Equivalent to £22.50 per hour
✅ Approx. £46,800 per year based on full-time employment

The Role Includes:
- Roughcasting & rendering
- External refurbishment works
- Patch repairs & maintenance
- Housing association and private sector works
- Working alongside experienced roofing & external works teams

Requirements:
- Experience in plastering & roughcasting essential
- Ability to work to a high standard
- Reliable and professional attitude
- CSCS preferred
- Driving licence preferred
