Some properties really are an absolute gift to survey. 🏡

This impressive Georgian residence is believed to date back to the early 19th century and, despite being extended and adapted over the years, still holds some wonderful reminders of its past.

From an active well in the former scullery to the original servants’ bell system still in working order, there was history around every corner.

And yes… in the interests of a very thorough inspection, every single bell had to be tested. 🔔😂

This is exactly why I love surveying historic properties. You're not just inspecting walls, roofs and defects - you're uncovering the story of the building and getting a glimpse into how people once lived and worked there.
