A lot of timber required to take the weight of the two large sky lights that will sit over the new living space. A warm deck system with 150mm insulation & furrings on top to help create the correct fall required. We also fitted the large two roof lights ourselves, a nice simple system provided by

✨ Extension Transformation in Rougham ✨

We’ve just wrapped up this extension project in Rougham and what a difference! The old structure was not only dated but shockingly poorly built throughout (easily one of the worst we’ve uncovered).

Out it came, and in its place we’ve constructed a brand-new timber frame extension with a modern flat roof, all built to current building standards. A bright, practical, and far more desirable utility room that will serve the home for years to come.

Here are the finishing photos from our latest extension project over in Rougham, Bury St Edmunds. We’ve been hands-on with this one from start to finish, managing all aspects of the build and completely transforming the downstairs living space.

The existing wall was removed to open everything up, and we added a beautiful vaulted roof extension, flooding the space with natural light thanks to four large Velux windows.

Braving the bitter cold for a rewarding first week back on the tools! We’ve been tackling this complex, large truss roof over in Cambridge for . The freezing temperatures made it even more of a challenge, but the satisfaction of completing a roof like this is second to none. Was a pleasure to be on board! Thrilled to have completed this custom wardrobe today for one of our valued repeat clients at our ongoing project in Worlington! Initially, we came in to handle the hand-cut roof, but the project has since expanded into a full transformation, including all interior work and a beautifully finished en-suite bathroom.

We’re excited to continue our work here, with another extension planned for this property starting in the spring. Looking forward to bringing even more vision to life!

Completed the full second fix package last week at our ongoing project in Rougham. This included customizing 10 doors, which needed cutting and adjusting due to the vaulted ceilings throughout the property. We recommended oak thresholds and black ironmongery for a more traditional finish, and the client couldn’t be happier with the result – and neither could we!

In a couple of weeks, we’ll be installing a new kitchen along with some exciting media wall designs. Stay tuned for more updates!

What a great start on our latest project. Roof stripped back, dorma window formed and then tiled in by myself & .crafted leading the way. Apologies for the extreme lack of content lately, just been so wrapped up in work & life haven’t got around to uploading anything!

This is the ongoing project we’ve been building lately. A huge roof over in Kennet for one of my best mates & his family.

This roof consisted of 6 large bastard valleys, 5 dormas, 4 different sized structural ridges and a lot of head scratching and working out 😅😂 but we got there in the end! What a home this will be!
