15m of Contemporary fencing complete for a client in Rogerstone

They contacted initially to see about getting 2 rotted and broken post's replaced but decided to get the whole fence replaced due to the rest of the post's being badly rotted

They went for double sided contemporary on the left side of there garden and just wanted us to do the same sort of design to help hide and match the bottom fence in with the new aswell

Lovely job to complete, we are very happy with the out come of this job and it was a pleasure working for the client ⚒️🪚

The client wanted a gate and small section of fence to separate the back garden from the front and also wanted there front gate replacing as the old metal gate was on its last legs and was abit of an eye sore, happy client, happy me

Blast from the past, to show where it all started

This is where it all started, me and my dad (owner of Ben’s Burned Bits) turned out garage into a workshop so we had somewhere for me to do all my little carpentry prjects, which is where my love for carpentry came from, as you can see in the first 3 images, we panelled all the walls using 6x1 timber, rhen decided to put the workbench in the centre of the wall on the right
we were in there almost every weekend, making small bits out of wood, buying new tools, upgrading thing in the workshop

I started working on site before I left school, on the weekends or during th school holidays and when i left school i decide to stay doing it with a close family friend, which is where i learnt the landscaping skills needed and more advanced carpentry like wardrobes, panelling, Decking + lots of other landscaping services, I started having family members asking me to build them small things to start with like gates or small picket fences, and it gradually grew to them recommending me to there friends

we decided to create this page, offering out services i knew i could complete to a good standard and was comfortable in my abilities doing, Once I started doing my own landscaping and carpentry jobs, we started needed more tools, bigger tools and better tools, we no longer needed a workshop in the garage, so thats where the idea of a bar came from

As you can see from the photos, its all military themed, my grandad severed in the royal Welsh regiment, my dad served in the welsh guards and royal pioneers regiment, and basically everything you see in the photos is hand made by us at⚒️🪚 I B Woodwork Projectz🪚⚒️

The photos seen of the bar our out dated as there has been more things added to the bar I.E: more flags on the ceiling, more memorabilia put on the walls, but i will be sure to get updated photos to put up for you guys so you can see the "near" finished bar, theres always little bits to add to a home bar though 😉

They wanted a new Cross to go on there relatives grave, so thats what we gave them, the cleints are going to give it a lick of paint and it'll be ready to place

The words were etched out using a laser engraving machine and came out amazing

Nice shed completed for a client in newport using 3x2 for the maine frame work and tanalised Shiplap for the cladding.

This job completed for a client a few months back which I forgot to post, whos daughter recommended us after we completed a fence for her a few years back.

The client originally just wanted the lowered part of the fence replacing but decide after wards to have the rest done aswell, and having used concrete slotted posts made extending the fence easy, we left the post high as the client wanted to possibly get concrete gravel boards in the future to go under the panels to help pro long the panels life span.

The client said they were very pleased with the job and love the look of there new fence after the old was damaged from wind and natural rot over the years.

Nice job completed this weekend for a client in Newport

The client got in contact with us to replace there shed floor and build a small lean to roof about the shed door, and to replace a bit of window trim aswell as re-sealing all windows and trims

It is a job well complete and us aswell as the customers are very please with the out come

Job completed for a returning customer in risca

This client got back in contact with us after we completed a shed build for them to ask about leveling some ground off and putting chippings down for them, the needed a small retainer at the back and side to prevent and mud from falling on there fresh chipping and decided to go ahead with 100x200 Sleepers.

It was a very nice job to completed to very nice clients again, they have already asked us to come back and completed the other side of the garden for them and are very please with the work we have put out for them as are we. We look forward to any future work our client have planned for us.
