Always nice to be asked back by customers to carry out more work for them. After installing their kitchen for them a few months ago, we were asked back to construct a media wall for them to enhance their living room.

Lovely classy washed walnut acoustic panelling, all electronics hidden behind TV, nice backlight LED'S and below in shelf and all new skirtings and facings to finish it all off. 👌👌👌

They say you can't bake a cake without breaking eggs!. Well, there was a lot of eggs broken on this one!!!
This gave us every curveball it could. Unfortunately, the previous owners had been keen on DIY, but not very good at it and left our customers with a whole array of hidden issues in both the kitchen and utility room.

All walls had to be sheeted over with plasterboard before a full skim on all walls and ceiling inc removing all pvc trims from around door and window.

The electrician had to figure out all the wiring and work his magic 🎩 once again to rectify and also install new downlights.

Complete floor needed lifted due to insufficient framing and flooring having been fitted incorrectly. Once this was lifted we then found multiple issues with the pipework below the floor. Incorrectly run waste pipes, kinked radiator pipes, and needed to resite the mains water, hot, cold and waste below the floor.

New framing installed and floor fully insulated before new floorboards fitted and new 9mm ply ready for the customer to have vinyl flooring fitted. New outside tap, window sill, skirtings and facings.

Lots more little bits and pieces needed done and I always feel bad for the customer when this happens but fortunately they understood that it could not be left that way and that they now have all issues rectified for many years to come.

In less than 24 hours, Wee Douglas 🏌️‍♂️ has already been snapped up for a cheeky Summer getaway! 🧳

That leaves just two dudes left, Buster 🥊 and Ronnie🎭, looking for their Summer lover! 💘

Don't leave them hanging too long though... or you'll be the one left broken-hearted! 😜💔

More of the same job

This was a bit of work!!!!!! 😰🥵Always a pleasure to return to previous customers.

We had previously installed a kitchen for the lovely Donna and Jan and were thrilled to be asked back to carry out this work for them.

Fully plaster living room walls and ceiling
Install new downlights
Construct new bespoke media wall with LED lighting and alcove lighting
New skirtings
Construct bulkhead behind sofa to include USBc sockets, a pop up socket and LED lighting

Install complete new solid oak stair bannister that had to be modified to allow for a gap between the handrails so as not to trap the customers fingers.
Line the sides of the staircase with oak and fill in all open treads so they could have a carpet fitted.

Make new bespoke drawers below stairs and install new flooring and skirtings throughout the hall.
Cut and fit fit and existing oak door to fit stair cupboard.

Remove old toilet , sink and wall tiles
Renew toilet and sink
Supply and install new wetwall and towel radiator.

Install new tall radiators in livingroom and hallway.

Install new loft ladder

Fully decorate all livingroom, hallway and upstairs.

This was quite a bit of work. What made this so much better was the people we work for. They gave me the trust to come up with ideas but also gave invaluable input that we could both talk about to give them the finished article that was perfect to them.

👋👋👋Hi folks! Its been a while since I've posted. Been a busy year so far🔨🔨 and not really had a chance to get posting on here much.

I have also lost some pictures from my phone of jobs we have done🫣🫣. So please do not be offended if your job is not shown on the page. I will start getting some pics up of the lovely jobs completed and I will promise to do better on future 😃😃.
This was the first one of the year but unfortunately lost the before pictures. We returned a few weeks later to lay new plywood and flooring throughout the kitchen, living room and hall including new skirtings, facings and radiators.

These pictures were while waiting for the quartz worktops to arrive.

🎄🎅🧑‍🎄 Well, that's officially a wrap for 2025!!. It has been a busy year but with more varied jobs which has been good.
