🏠 Lead Gutter Replacement

This old lead gutter had seen better days and had been heavily patched with Flashband. It was no longer doing its job properly and was causing water damage to the property.

We removed the old gutter and installed a new lead gutter, giving the house a durable, watertight solution for years to come. 🔨

🧱 Wall, Fencing & Gate Transformation

Another job completed by the team.

The existing wall had become unsafe and structurally unsound, so we carefully took it down and rebuilt it with a completely new design, giving the frontage a much cleaner and more modern finish.

We also incorporated bee bricks into the new wall as a small wildlife-friendly feature. They provide nesting spaces for solitary bees, making it a simple way to add a little biodiversity to the project while keeping the brickwork looking smart.

The project was finished off with new timber fencing and a timber gate, bringing the whole frontage together.

A great transformation on this property with a full gable re-point and chimney rebuild completed.

The existing mortar joints were raked out to the correct depth before being re-pointed with a quality finish, while the chimney was carefully rebuilt to ensure it remains safe, secure, and weather-resistant for years to come.

Progress update from our gable re-point job over in Crook 👌

This one has definitely tested us with the weather conditions lately 🌧️💨 Between the rain, wind, and constant stop-start conditions, we’ve had to work carefully and patiently to make sure every part of the job is completed to the highest standard possible.

Despite the challenges, the re-pointing work is coming together really well and the transformation is already noticeable. We never rush these jobs — especially when weather can affect the finish — so taking the time to do it properly is always the priority.

Once all the pointing is complete, the final stage will be a full clean down using brick acid to remove any residue and bring the brickwork back to life. This will leave the bricks looking fresh, clean, and give the whole gable a sharp finished appearance 🔥

A recent ridge repair completed with a focus on keeping the roof in character with the property👌

We carefully stripped off the damaged ridge, and re-bedded it using a coloured mortar to match the existing ridges, verges and valleys. The end result is a strong, weatherproof ridge that looks like it’s always belonged there.
