Terrible news breaking: Kevin Keegan has died.

Kevin helped us launch the fundraising events here in the northeast, and was to be this year’s host at the Kids in Mind dinner in October.

Such a passionate individual in everything he did. Our thoughts are very much with his family and close friends.

£10,000!!! The Kids in Mind Golf Day, held today at Close House Golf raised this hugely impressive figure - just over £9,750 from the event and topped up to 5-figures from a generous anonymous donor in the room.

We can’t thank the supporters and attendees enough. You’re amazing. The work that goes on behind the scenes is considerable, but the enabling benefit this money brings is massive, as confirmed by CEO Julian Margolin MBE in his opening and closing speeches.

Same again next year? Absolutely x
